Scholarship on 19th century Japanese photography keeps on growing with lots of new stories, discoveries and images to read about. I am getting my hands on these ten books published between 2014 and 2017. I can't wait to find out what new things we've learnt about Japanese photohistories of the 19th century, and write brief revies to put up here. Have you read any of them?
